Subcommittees

  • The Advocacy Subcommittee meets once a month to discuss current legislation and set advocacy goals. The subcommittee is composed of two members of the Advisory Board and volunteers from around the state. Volunteers dedicate no more than 6 hours per month to the subcommittee. If you are interested in joining, email us at OCCA@theoec.org.

  • The Education Subcommittee will commence in 2022. Look out for more information in the future!

Educating colleagues and trainees on the health impacts caused by climate change is fundamental to helping others understand the importance of this issue. OCCA will help facilitate and cover travel costs for healthcare professionals who want to help educate others.
